Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death Fix – The Truth Behind the Xbox 360 3 Red Lights of Death

Microsoft released the Xbox 360 in 2005, and ever since it’s release, the big issue of the 3 Red Lights or the red ring of death has been experienced by many players. This issue occurs when the game console experiences a general failure in its hardware or the core digital failure and until now this has not yet been fixed.

How many of you really know why this issue occurs and how can you prevent it from happening?

The most common cause of the Xbox 360 3 red lights is overheating. Xbox has two parts that are most prone to over heating, the console and the power brick. Though there are vented openings, fans and heat sinks to help lessen the heat, the console still cannot breathe cooler air.

This issue is also the same with the power brick and so you need to place your console in an open area and place the power brick off the floor so that all the sides can easily cool down.

Another reason for the red lights is the faulty Nyko Intercooler. According to microsoft, this intercooler drains a lot of power from the console which then causes faults to occur.

The third reason is all about the GPU or the graphics processing unit which when heated can cause the motherboard to flex and the X-clamps to loosen. This will then cause frequent screen freezes and cause the 3 red light fault on your Xbox 360 to happen.

Until now microsoft haven’t found any solution to this major design flaw and it is inevitable that users and players will soon experience having freezes of the 3 red lights on their Xbox 360. You can send them back to Microsoft’s support center if you still have warranty but you can also try fixing your console by yourself.

You can try doing an Xbox 360 red ring of death fix yourself with free videos from youtube or other video sharing sites to help you fix the red rings on your gaming console if it happens to you.

Doing this is proven to work for many Xbox 360 users around the world so it is quite accurate to say doing it this way will get your console working again.
